Program Description

The way people interact is important to the growth and success of any business. Within your organization there are a number of different personalities and behavioural styles.

This one day program helps participants understand themselves and others in a specific environment. Participants learn about the differences of others and the environment they require for maximum productivity and harmony at work.

Utilizing the Team Dimensions Profile, each individual's most natural role in the team process is identified by considering how people approach working with others to accomplish a task.

This program maps the process of individual team members doing their parts, handing off tasks to the next person, and completing the project.

Team Dimensions, with its unique process, helps you start at the beginning and end with success in meeting the team challenge.

It's a proven way to clarify roles, simplify processes and maximize individual contributions for total team results.

The simulated series of activities ( no one has to twist an ankle, fall backwards off a ladder, or blister their feet ‘fire walking' ) are structured to present a team with the opportunity to assess its consultative and decision-making processes and make behavioural changes to foster more productive communication patterns.

Each activity is designed to elicit participants' awareness about how they collectively made decisions and consult with one another.

Then participants are asked to identify what impeded the consultative process. Lastly, they transfer what they've learned from experience by responding to the request to formulate an action plan to change their future communication patterns and consultative process

Team Sailing

The nature of sailing makes it ideal for team building. All the people on the boat have to co-operate to sail the boat, every team member has a role and with our experienced instructors we can ensure that no one person 'dominates'.

Corporate sailing activities, either with one boat or more, involve participants engaged in challenges that parallel real work environments and ones that facilitate respect, co-operation, communication and teamwork.

Pirates Theme Party

Shiver me timbers! On your arrival, you'll be greeted by pirate music and our pirate hosts, guests will be provided with a pirate hat, eye patch and a cutlass, souvenir photographs will be taken and they will be served a welcome pirate punch!

This activity can be a stand alone activity or it can encompass part of Team Sailing.The Team could start the program with a sail and all of its experiences, get into the pirate mood by donning 'Pirate attire', coming along side our 'Treasure Ship' and boarding her with all the bravado of a traditional Pirate raid.

Team Cooking

Participants learn to work together to produce exotic and unfamiliar gourmet meals, using techniques and ingredients entirely new to most. No prior experience necessary. For those with little or no cooking experience this can be daunting. For those who think they know how to cook, even more so! It's not about how much you know it's about producing a Team result. The old adage, “If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen” has no place in Team building.
